Press the MENU/OK button to bring up the menu. Press cursor-left to select a left tab. Use cursor-up/down to select SET. Press cursor-right to enter the setup menu. Use cursor-up/down to select "DATE/TIME" and press cursor-right.

The full instructions are in "The Setup Menu" section of the manual (page 83 in my copy). If you need the manual, you can download one at

You have not advised the make or model of your camera but if you open the menu and go to SETUP you should be able to find the date/time setup. Toggle through the alternatives there and you should be able to fix your problem.

I HAVE A PANASONIC DVD,VHS RECORDER MODEL #DMR-EZ48V.WHEN TRANSFER A VHS CASSETTE TO A DVD THE THUMNAILS ON THE DVD HAVE THE DATE OF 1/1/2000. HOW CAN I PUT THE ACTUAL DATE OF THE RECORDINGS ON EACH OF THE...

Try setting the clock on the remote press [FUNCTIONS] go to SETUP menu - locate the CLOCK option (it should be under 'OTHERS' in the setup) and set the current time, press [ENTER/OK] to store if necessary, then press [RETURN] to exit the setup. Once clock is set correctly, future DVD thumbnails will show the actual date/time of recording in this (and similar) model combo units. If auto clock setting is not possible, set it manually as above.

I assume in spite of the wrong date/time, your DVD recordings have been successful. Incorrect clock and date setting usually only affects timer recording for VHS.

If you have lost or misplaced your original owner's manual, you can download a free pdf version (for Region 1 model) from:

http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Video/DVD-Recorders-Players/DVD-Recorders/model.DMR-EZ48VK

or, if you live outside USA, download the 'Australia/NZ' pdf version of the manual (for Region 4 model) from:

http://www.panasonic.com.au/Products/DVD+and+Blu-ray/DVD+-+Players+and+Recorders/DMR-EZ48V/Downloads

either one of these will provide you a full copy of the original user guide/setup including clock.

All free. Hope these suggestions help.

I understand that you wish to change the date on your KODAK camera.;
Please go into the menu, camera settings, date and time.

You can also reset the camera: Take the batteries out for longer than 10 sec. reinsert and the camera automatically asks you to set date and time.

No flash and screen flashes "E:91:01"

Hi!

The error E:91 indicates a hardware malfunction in the Camera. In this case, you may try resetting the Camera to the original factory settings.
Follow the steps given below to reset the Camera to the original factory settings:
(a) Press the Menu button to display the menu screen.
(b) After pressing the right arrow on the control button, go to the (setup) setting, then press the right arrow again.
(c) Next, press the left/right/up/down arrow on the control button to select "Setup 1" option.
(d) Then, select the "Initialize" option OK, OK.
(e) Set the clock if date and time screen appear.
(f) Next, turn off the Camera and remove the Battery pack and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
(g) Then, reinsert the Battery pack and turn the Camera ON.

Performing all the above steps will reset the Camera to the original factory settings. After resetting the Camera to the original factory settings, please check the operation of the Camera.
If the Camera continues to display the error E:91 then service will be required.

Putting a date on the pics i take with a canon powershot

Hi Steve, thanks for coming to FixYa.

First, for your model of camera, you do know that you can only Print the date and time the pic was taken on the photo right? It does not embed the date and time data into the image, like some cameras do.
Here is a direct quote from the manual if you want to check my information. You will find it on page 21. "Setting the date and time settings does not cause the date/time stamp to appear on the images."

This may/maynot be what you wanted, either way let me know with a comment. I can describe how to set the date and time in the camera's setup menu for you if you want, and/or I can tell you how to make sure you print the date and time on your photos. Otherwise, have fun with your camera and please rate my solution a fixya.

The date/time is in Setup 1 (the wrench icon in the middle). Scroll down to Date & Time, then click the right side of the wheel button to set the date and time.

I hope this helps! If so, please rate the solution.
