Mac OSX Drivers for Samsung S630

Hi REL123,

A couple of weeks ago you mentioned that you might be able to email me the drivers. Any chance I can talk you into it? I have been unable to get them. Thanks for your help.

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I could try to email it sometime next week. But I got mine from Best Buy (Geek Squad) for free. If you have a Best Buy in your area, you might ask them. Let me know what you want to do so I'll know if I need to try to email it. Good Luck!!!

Epson stylus c90 - I need a driver to install it to my computer

Hi Doris

The drivers for this printer are available from the official Epson Support and Downloads pages for this printer for Mac OSX and Windows 98 to Windows 7 Operating systems. Select your Operating System from the Drop menu and then click on the download files to download the Drivers and all the remaining printer software here:

http://www.epson.com.sg/epson_singapore/printers_and_all_in_ones/inkjet/product.page?product_name=Epson_Stylus_C90&tab_index=3

You don't say which Operating System you use, so my answer is presented in general terms. If yours is a non-Windows and non-Mac Operating System and my answer seems to be of some relevance to you, please consider applying the logic and principles involved here to your own Operating System and, if in doubt, please feel free to add a Comment or Clarification to this Question (although it seems no drivers for this product are currently available for other Operating Systems). Please include information about the Operating System. Doing so helps us makes faster, more accurate and more assured Remote Diagnostics leading to better quality and more useful Advice, Answers, Guidelines , How-Tos and Solutions.

For your future reference, the term "Drivers" is meaningless without associating it with a specific item of hardware AND an Operating System. There is no such thing as " Epson C90 Drivers". There are XP VGA LAN Drivers, Vista Graphics Drivers or Windows7 LAN Drivers, Mac OSX Tiger WLAN Drivers. Mac OSX Leopard Epson Sx100 Printer Drivers, Mac OSX Lion Webcam Drivers, Linux Red Hat Midi Controller Drivers, Linux Ubuntu Media Player Drivers, etc.

Although drivers seem to mainly be about hardware, they are actually mainly about software. The Driver does not physically control the Motherboard's Devices. The BIOS and the Operating System do. What the Driver does is (just like a human interpreter for a guest who speaks a different language from his host), introduce the Device to the Operating System and help them to communicate with one another, with the Driver taking instructions from both and passing it back and forth between them.

So when one mentions Drivers, one must also mention the Operating System it will be talking to. In order for that to be possible, the 2 must share a common language. If they do not, then the role of 'interpreter' is impossible, because, then neither the Driver nor the Device will be able to understand what the Operating System is saying.

I hope this helps.

Identify the Hardware and the Operating system and then you can find the drivers if drivers exist for the particular hardware and the Operating System in question.

Is there a Canoscan D2400 driver for Mac OSX 10.6 available?

Access the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/scanners/canoscan_series/canoscan_d2400uf

and click "specifications" -- there's some mention of support for various versions of Mac OS.

Does OSX 10.6 have "built-in" support, i.e., device-drivers are included, without needing any downloads from Canon's web-site?

Hi there,

If you're a MAC user, you could still download pictures from your camera to PC.

No need for you to install any CD software because your camera will be recognized automatically as a removable disk.

Just try to make sure that you'll be using the USB cable supplied in the package and your PC does have good working USB ports.

For transferring pictures with OS (MAC):
- Turn off camera
- Plug USB cable to camera and PC
- Turn on camera
- Connect to computer or printer will come out on camera screen
- Select the desired one
- Press MENU/OK
- "New Hardware Found" will be seen on the right lower corner
- A window will pop out with various options
- Example: "Open to View Files", "Copt to a folder"...

* If nothing like those mentioned above happened,

Double check through Computer Devices with Removable storage:
- Look for DCIM folder in any of the Removable storage
- Select 100sscam folder inside DCIM folder
- Upon opening, all pictures will be viewed

Make sure to check your MAC System for the following:
- Power Mac G3 or later
- Mac OS 9.2~10.3
- Minimum 64MB RAM
- 110MB of available hard-disk space
