In all probability the CMOS battery in the laptop is running down (this coin shaped battery keeps the time and date settings when the laptop is turned off). You will need to get this replaced.

How to change dates on my personel computor

Click on the Date at your taskbar. When the analog clock shows up, click change date and time settings. A popup windows will appear.

Then, click change date and time, and seti it as your preferred. Click ok and it's all done.

But if you restart the laptop or pc and you date reverse back to previous one, then you need to change the CMOS Battery inside.

Generally, the battery is the flat one used in the watch but the size might be different for some model.

Date and time wrong on start up

This indicates the BIOS battery is flat and therefore cannot store the correct date and time in the BIOS. You need to install a new BIOS battery and then go into the BIOS setup to set the Date & Time.

When I start my Lenovo T 60 it show check date and time after that it show Key picture, thank

You get this message if your Laptop (CMOS/configuration) Date is really outdated and wrong: check and change your Laptop Configuration setting for Date and Time. Also check your Windows Date/Time.
If the date/time you enter is not maintained properly, especially after you switch off the laptop, then you have a bad backup CMOS battery that needs to be replaced.

Hope it helps.

Batterie

Your internal CMOS battery(button battery) needs to be replaced. That keeps your date & time always working. Therefore when your main Battery runs out and external power is not present the date and time goes back to the date of manufacture.....sodeep
