Question about Logitech S150 2 Speakers

1 Answer

I got a set of Logitech S-150 USB digital speakers for Christmas, and the very first time I plugged them in (and every time since) they have been very unbalanced. The right speaker seems to be fine and can go very loud, but the left hardly produces any sound at all. I've gone into my audio settings on my laptop and tried everything, but nothing seems to change anything with the left speaker. It's so quiet, that putting the volume down from anything but max renders it silent, while the right one seems to be working fine. Is there anything I can do, or are they just flawed? I've checked to see if anyone else has a similar problem, but haven't been able to find one close enough to my own, and so I haven't had any luck fixing it myself.

Logitech are usually good speakers, I have had them for a long time and would suggest that there is a problem with the speaker in question. My advice would be to return them for a replacement

Do s-150 usb digital speakers work for mac?

Hi, I had this problem too but thankfully I figured it out after a investigating a few settings. I was very frustrated because the light came on and the buttons would manipulate my MacBook Pro and MacBook sound, but nothing came out of the speakers. Solution:1.) Click on System Preferences, 2.) Choose "Sound", 3.) Select the "Output" button in the middle of the top bar, 4.) in the selectable menu, choose USB (of course your speakers must be plugged in for this to show). Tada! You can even balance the Left and Right speakers in this menu. Hope that works for you too!

Sis you connect it to the right port of the computer system?
NOTE right port is the port with the green colour, then asie that is your system speaker working with another speaker ?
if not then you have to install your sound driver first there after try using you speaker and you are good to go,

if all this option are not working, you have to check your device very well.

remember to rate me

Logitech z5500 speakers no power

certainly sounds like a fuse problem. First check that the fuses you have used work in another appliance. You should not have to use a fuse from the logitech company but it will be rated for your speakers so would probably be best. If the fuse checks out (both plug and amp) then check the wall socket and the power cable.

Blue screen when playing iTunes on Logitech Z-10 speakers

Before, you return it, can you unplug the Wireless USB Hub, and plug in your iPod and does it work just fine?  Also, the USB port that you're plugging it into - is it USB 2.0?
If both answers are YES to the above - then definitely return it.
It's not your speakers.

Proper set up

Try to google the brand name and get the user's manual. Usually the extra cords plug into one of the other speakers and then one to the computer. Sound card could be an issue but I doubt it.
