It would be better for both of us if you did mention the Model and Make of your printer. Well, first of all, press the cancel button on your printer, disconnect the printer from the computer or simply turn it off (or unplug the power cord), after that, restart your computer. Once the computer is restarted, check the print queue and verify it's no longer there. If it's still there, cancel it and once again restart your computer and check (again). This should clear the documents in the print queue. You can now reconnect your printer and resume your work. If this isn't helpful, I would suggest you to uninstall the printer's driver or delete the printer. I hope you know how to delete or uninstall the printer from your computer.

If you need further help, let me know with more details, including the Operating System running on your computer.

Good Luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How do I cancel documents in a queue

Cheers james heron

To cancel a queued document, there are several ways, it is best to go to printing devices and open what is printing the printer you want to cancel, click Cancel and disappear the document.
In many cases this does not help then you click cancel, the document continues to appear, that's when it works best to turn off the computer and turn it on again.
Another thing you can do to disappear a file from the print queue, disconnect the printer's USB cable and connect it again, for it can do so from your computer or from the same printer.

Another way that can work is, turn the printer off and turn it on again, you should always look the team to lose the memory of what is printed, in order to begin again.

How to Cancel Printing in a Brother HL-2135W printer

Start by pulling the paper tray out to stop further pages being printed without jamming the printer up.

Then go onto your print queue on your computer and delete the job that is printing 50 pages.

If it dissapears then put the paper tray back in and it may print out the last page or two that were in the printer buffer.

If it does not dissapear from the print queue then turn the printer off and try to delete the job again.

Once you have ordered the job deleted then you can turn your printer back on and put the paper tray back in and allow it to continue. It should only print out the last page or two and then the job will dissapear

We have a sp 3250 all in one printer. We had a paper jam. We removed the paper jam and now the printer is telling us that there is still a paper jam. Please tell me what to do next. Thank you.

It is just sensing as if you haven't yet removed the jam. So, while switched on, keep pressing the load or toner or cancel buttons on top. Also make sure you cleared the printing queue that was instructed when the paper jammed.

I was in contact with you yesterday over an aspect of the same problem. I printed a very lengthy IRS document, but when finished, the printer tried to repeat the document when I wished to print something...

You will need to clear the printer queue. The instructions for doing so depend upon what OS you are running on your computer, and which make and model printer you have.
Without specifics, I can only instruct you to go to the printer manufacturer's support site online, (like, etc), enter your model number, and search "clear print queue".
You should be able to follow the instructions or solution given to cancel the print job and clear the memory.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Printer queue jammed

Simply rebooting your computer should fix that. If you have Win2k or XP, you can also open a command prompt and type 'net stop spooler', and when it's done type 'net start spooler'. That stops and restarts the spooler service (which controls the print queue) and may take care of it. But a reboot is easer and more likely to be successful.
