SOURCE: Opening the CD player on a JVC UX-RC7 micro component system

Hello i had the same problem..maybe you have already fixed this but on the back you have the speakers and a pair of red and black switches, you have to put the wires into the holes on the TOP (not the sides) of the little box on the back...then once you have put the wires in flick the flaps UP :)

Sorry if you have already solved this problem but I hope it will come in use for someone.
Thanks
StepheeJay..x

How to set clock for jvc-pc-xc50

I have a JVC pc-xc30. Essentially the same device - I believe the owners manuals are the same as well. I am in the process of hunting one of those down.

To answer your question - I have found no way to set the clock with the buttons on the JVC PC-XC50/XC30 Portable CD System. This was done using the remote control. If you search for a RM-RXC30 (for my model) you can still find replacement remotes. On the remote there is a button for clock set and timer set along with down and up buttons.

Put in the wrong email address for my last question about where to find a power/ac cord for our JVC 200 Disk Changer Model # XL-MC334, as we have misplaced/ threw away by mistake! laurie hughes

I looked at a picture of the rear of your player and it takes a standard power cord commonly used on boomboxes and similar products. Radio Shack carries a suitable replacement.Their website says it's available in most stores. You might also try thrift/resale shops in your area where cords are often for sale. (I think I have a couple of these cords. If you want to email a postal address to pgh_pa_guy@hotmail.com I'll be happy to send one if I do.)

Hey guys, I've just installed a CD changer in my car - having some difficulties getting it to work. After some Googling I came across this forum so I figured I'd see if any of you guys know where I'm...

there should be a small connector on the changer itself for the power ground and remote wire for power to the changer unit. the cord coming from the unit to the changer doesn't supply this power and this is why it wont eject and also your head unit wont recognize it until it gets powered up and able to communicate with the head unit and then it will show up as a selectable source when switching between sources of music. check the back of the changer for a small connector containing 3 or 4 pins and you should have a connector with the corresponding wires coming from it to plug into this spot after connecting the wires properly. if you bought it on ebay it is possible you didn't get this piece which is critical when connecting this changer.

I wanted to ask how do I get the JVC CH-X1500RF 12-Disc CD Changer to operate? Where does the unit get power, and how can I connect speakers?...Henry

These multidisk cd changers usually get their power from the operating system that you have in your car. These systems connect directly to your main radio and operations of it are all from the drivers seat. therefore you do not need to connect any speakers or power cables up to it. It should come with a few cables that help you to connect to your radio.

I own a JVC KS-RF150 12 disc cd player, all of a sudden there is no power to the unit, checked all the interior fuses, radio is working fine and all connections to the unit are secure.Tried to reset it and...

Question ?
Are you using the remote to accomplish the power on
Check the fuses again it may be that the fuse in broken
2. To check some fuses you will need a meter to see if they Ohms reading if so the fuse is bad. Usually a fuse will read infinity if it good.
2. there may be a coupling capacitor on the main board that has become weak in the power section of the circuit board,
3. Also check all connector on the main board they could be intermittently connected
4. if you have power then a connector may come disconnected such a the ribbon cable to the power switch.
5. there also may be a diode or led that has blown that is in line with the power switch will not allow power to the switch for the disc player.
6. Voltage check at these points will tell if you are getting dc power from the transformer to the switch.
