Well....it depends on if it was meant to have one or not. If it has the structure that you need underneath then all you need to do is at a swivel base to it. If the structure is not there then you will have to do a little carpentry. I would think you could use the existing structure and span it with a 2 x 12 creating the structure you need to bolt your swivel base.
Fitting your Graco Snug Ride infant seat into a Graco stroller is usually easy to do -- the exact instructions just depend on which stroller you have. Typically, all you have to do is fold the stroller's canopy back, recline the seat (if it reclines), and snap the car seat in (backwards -- facing the rear of the stroller). You can hear it lock in place when it's in correctly. Your stroller's manual will have specific instructions, and if you don't have the manual you can find it online.
it definitely is NOT self explanitory as to where the LATCH is supposed to be anchored when not in use. It took some time, but I figured it out. The Top Tether should be hooked on the recline prop/foot/base area - depending on which way you have this positioned - for forward or rear-facing use, the piece to hook the top tether on could either be towards the front (rf mode) or back (ff mode). It's just a simple cut out in the plastic. The Lower Anhcors need to be clipped to a small plastic notch along the back side of the seat shell - you have to lift up the cover to get a good look at them - they are towards the top of the seat on the back and don't really look like much but do secure the lower anchors when attached. I hope that helps! Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
Our car seat is not the same brand, but in the bottom front under the strap there should be a plastic handle you can pull out on. Some are pretty sticky so you may have to hold the base with the other hand while you pull hard on the handle...this should do the trick. Good luck on your trip!
