I'm going to assume these picture files are in the camera internal memory? if so you may not be able to access them as a "file" my suggestion would be to get a Memory card for your camera and load each picture file from the internal memory to the memory card, unfortunately this needs to be done one at a time. If this is not the case (as the pictures are on a memory card not internal memory) then you need to first make sure the camera has sufficient power for the transfer. shut the camera off connect your USB cable to the computer and the camera and turn the camera on. The camera should show up as an external device or mass storage device. You are then able to open this file to thumbnails copy and past them into a new folder created in your "My Documents". Once done eject/safely remove device DO NOT just unplug the cable. Once it's safe to disconnect the USB cable then do so and remove it from the camera. You are not done yet, now you need to format the memory card to clean the Memory card and make ready for new picture files. An added note, if you are going to use a new memory card first format it in the camera even though it's new formatting makes the new memory card compatible with your camera operating system. Cheers Have fun

How do I move photos from my tablet to the SD card?

Download ES File Explorer. Locate the folder where the pictures are, long press each file or select all by default, copy and paste files from the table to the SD card within the tablet. Alternatively, you can connect your tablet to your PC and access it via the PCs file explorer in the same way you would enter files within your hard drive. Copy and paste the files or drag and drop from the table to your PC.

I was coping my pictures on to my computer and while it was doing so i noticed that the downloading froze and displayed that it will be complete in 8hrs so i did a booboo and hit the cancel button but now...

Try going to "Search" on your computer. On Windows PC computers, you can usually find it on the lower left of your screen. Enter the word "Found" or "Found file", and the photo file should appear. If that doesn't work, go the folder on your computer that contains the most recent photos that you have successfully downloaded to the computer. Go to the last photo you downloaded, and copy that file number. Enter that entire number in the "search" window, and change the last couple of numbers in the file to something a few numbers higher. In other words, if your most recent photo on your computer from that camera is something like "DSC05300", change it to "DSC5310", and do a search for that number. If your recent photos are in the "found" file as the message told you, that "fake" number should match one of the photos you're looking for. If it appears in the search, it will show where that photo is located, and all your other "lost" photos will be in the same place. Good luck!

Download photos to pc

If you're photos are saved in your phone's internal memory, transfer them first to the memory card.
To move files from the phone to the card, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, tap Menu.
2. Tap My Files.
3. Tap Phone at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the desired folder.
5. Tap the desired file.
6. Tap Options.
7. Tap Move to.
8. Tap Memory card.
9. Tap the desired folder.
10. Tap Open.
11. Tap Move to.
Once you have transferred your photos to the card, the next step would be transferring those photos from the card to your computer.
To move files from the card to the computer, perform the following steps:
1. Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the top of your phone.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer.
3. Click File Transfer on the phone.
4. If required, tap OK on the phone to exit to the main screen.
5. On the computer, in the Removable Disk dialog box, click to select Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer, and click OK.
6. Navigate to the file on your memory card that you wish to copy.
7. Right-click the file and click Copy.
8. Navigate to the desired folder on your computer.
9. Right-click and click Paste.
10. When you are finished transferring files, tap Back on the phone.
11. Tap OK to exit the card reader mode.
12. Disconnect the USB cable from your phone and from your computer.

I have tried everything to download pictures in vain. The photos can be seen on the camera, but when i connect the cable or use the card in my computer, it says no photos found! I have downloaded photos...

Possible that the card is having errors to conflict with the PC. If there was a password lock this is also possible.
You can put the card into the PC and check the properties to see if the card contains files. If so it is protected , make sure if you are using an adapter if there a small key pulled along to protect data.
IS files are present then use search key to open all files type with an * to search for all files.

How to put videos in the computer with Sony DSC-T90 digital camera?

Hello the Abigail,

You just have to connect your camera using to the USB port of the computer using the usb cable. Once the computer detected the camera, right click your windows Start button and choose Explore. The windows explorer window will open. On the left panel, look for the local drive letter associated with the camera and click on it to show the contents of the camera to the right. The file of the video should be inside the folders to just double click on them to find it. Once found, you just have to right click on the file, choose Copy, then paste it on your computer's local drive.

Should you need further assistance, please let me know.

Can only download photos and not movies

What is the file extension of those movies downloaded from your camera? Make sure they are supported by your computer. Try to use Windows Media Player.

Can't load photos to computer

Try using Windows Explorer or a similar folder and file locating program to find the camera. In Explorer, choose My Computer and look down the list that opens. If your camera is "seen" by the computer, it will appear in the list and you should be able to retrieve the pictures from there, just like finding and opening other folders and files. If not, the problem is most likely on the camera or cable, not the software or computer.

Transfer Problem

What did your PC screen say? It is the PC that does the file transfer not the camera. If you use a Window XP OS, a window on the PC screen should pop up and ask you what you want to do. If you don't see that (plug and unplug the USB cable again and/or use your window window explorer (right click on the start icon and choose explore) to look for your camera. I don't have a Finepix S304, may be the camera screen just telling you that it detected a PC hook up to the camera. Good luck, Hope this help.
