    If you could, please specify the type of computer your using (PC or MAC), what operating system (Leapord, Windows XP, Vista, ect) and what version of I tunes your using by clicking help and then clicking "About" (at the bottom of the help menu) wait for a number to scroll up next to the big number (for example maybe it says Itunes 10 and then a number like 10.0.0.68 scrolls up next to it.) All or any of these details will help if you can please provide any.

Fascinating, make sure you have the absolute latest edition of I Tunes (I've had experience with people not being able to play their library without having the newest version.) If you have a good internet connection then you may want to simply un-install Itunes and do a completely new download and install. Make sure the volume slider on I Tunes is not all the way down. Also if these don't work try going to your "Sound" applet in control panel;
-under the playback tab click the properties button (be sure your speakers are selected)
-move over to the advanced tab
-be sure both boxes are checked under exclusive mode:
(allow application to take exclusive control of this device) and (give exclusive mode applications priority)
I hope some of this helpful. Thanks.

Testimonial: "You ROCK! Installed iTunes 10.1.1.4 and moved the iTunes volume slider all the way up. Plugged into front headphone slot intead of back green slot."

Hissing from computer speakers and they are new

Hello
A hissing sound indicates the speaker amplifier has no input from the computer sound card, check to make sure the speakers are hooked up to the correct port for audio out to the speaker input, the Audio output to the speaker is the GREEN mini RCA jack on the back of the computer.

What you need to do is connect your green audio jack from your speakers into the green audio connection at the back of your computer and you should have sorted it out :-)
