Question about Sony Hi8 CCD-TRV138 Camcorder
I have some tapes from about 7 years ago that I try to play back on my camera but all I get is snow and a blue screen. But I record something now on the same tape and I can play it back. Any ideas?

Tips for a great answer:
This is usually caused by an oxidized or defective Audio/Video drum. You can try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be serviced by a qualified service technician.
