It want power up.it has been working fine since i bought it about 4 years ago..i dont know if the problem is because it's not plugged into a regular outlet or what?
TV for the last 2 weeks sometimes does not power on. The green power light off & on button blinks 5/9 times. today the TV powered up and was on for about 1hour and then turned off by its self. The fuse inside the tv. If you remove the back cover its on the small board up front closet to the screen on the right hand side. there will be a fuse on that board.The fuse inside the tv. Ur high voltage is dead,the FBT.The flyback transformer is dead.The big black block of plastic with a wire with cap hook up to ur CRT(tv tube).Might
also ur DM power board,have burns capacitors,check for puff ups capacitors must also be replace as rebuild board.U know how to solder right?Tries thes websites for parts.Tv Repair World.com Shopjimmy.com Partstore.com or Ebay.com.
Is the convergence adjustment option still listed on the on screen menu or has it disappeared? Thats a very easy chassis to repair so let me know if the option has disappeared or not and I can asssist you with how to fix it.
I dont think this problem can be fixed without solder work or part replacement of convergence section. Its no just matter of fuse. You should get repair facility from concern service center because TV has dangrous voltages inside and qualified person knows how to deal with TV.
You have bad convergence IC's.. If your not experienced in troubleshooting electronics or soldering, you should have a trained tech take a gander at the set. Its not worth risking life and limb to save a few bucks, Good Luck
