Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Not receiving channel 5. Cannot re-tune TV.

You can only access auto tuning by going through the digital menu via information button on remote. Pressing the menu button only brings up analogue set up.

SOURCE: Unable to set up and tune in channels, can not find

hi welcome to fixya
do you mean sir you can get into set up in the menu that is why you can not tune either in any channel?. now try to use the menu button at your tv front panel or at remote control. then go to channel set up and select the right source if air/cable settings. now to tune channel you can select manual or auto program using the channel up/down button. then to search and tuned the channel you can use the volume up/down button then saved. just give me feed back if it is what you are asking for so i can give an additional solution.thanks for consulting the fixya.

Cogeco code s0900

The receiver was unable to tune to the selected station for some reason.

From the Cogeco website...
If you see a "One Moment Please" error on some channels that provides a reference code starting with S, it means the receiver was unable to tune to the particular channel(s). If you are also experiencing poor service on your analog channels, this could be related to a signal issue.
You should:
  1. Check the connection to the digital receiver and make sure it is firmly secure.
  2. Bypass any splitters or other equipment between the wall outlet and our TV.
  3. Check if the cable line has been damaged.
You can also try resetting your receiver by unplugging the power for 30 seconds (keep in mind that the menu/guide will need to be downloaded again).
If the "One Moment Please" errors continue, please contact us, as a service call may be required.

Hope this helps!

I have lost digital reception. I can play DVDs and get analogue TV.

You need to make sure your reception is strong enough to receive digital reception otherwise you will only receive analogue reception and dvd playback ability is normally nothing to do with the TV's reception.
Ensure you have strong reception before doing an auto tune to search for the channels. Good luck.
