SOURCE: Washing machine walks
Washing machine companies don't make any features that support installing the washer on anything but a level floor so pads are usually the best solution. There are a number of companies that make special pads to prevent washing machine walking. I've had the best luck with Vibration Solution's Anti-Walk Pads. They are the easiest to install of all the anti-walk type pads on the market because they don't require any messy glue to keep them in place.
