Question about Vacuums

1 Answer

I have a Bravetti Convection & Rotisserie Oven, Model Number TO241B which is approximately 3 years old. The top two elements do no longer work. Should I try and replace them or is it cheaper to buy a new oven?

Hi,
The only way to get parts for that is to Contact Euro-Pro by phone at (800) 798-7398.

Other then that you will have to replace it...but a new one is 100.00....the parts will probably be at least half that with shipping...

If it was me I would probably go the new route...

Riccar model 8625 need compatible repalcement motor for original Ametek # 117405-00 12 amp no longer available ?

You can likely get any 8000 series motor to fit but there are different motors and you really need to talk to a qualified trained Riccar repair technician to determine the proper motor for your model. Your model is almost 30 years old and a newer motor would be difficult for the average homeowner to safely install. You were given good advice because they told you to discuss it with a qualified retailer for the proper way to safely get your vacuum running again. If done properly there could be many more years of usable service left I your old vacuum. If done wrong it could cause damage to the motor or other parts of the vacuum or even cause a fire, death or injury.

Delonghi toaster elements are losing their heat

There are three likely problems:
1. The toaster and/or heater elements need to be cleaned. If they get coated with food material they will not function correctly.
2. The heater element could just be going bad. You would need to search the web with your model number to find the appropriate replacement part then open up the unit sufficiently to disconnect the old elements and replace the new elements. You need to ensure that the connections are correct because loose connections would not permit sufficient electricity to enable the elements to heat up.
3. The thermostat could be going or gone. This controls the amount of power provided to the elements and thus determines how much they heat up. Again, you would need to search for replacement part.

I have a kelvinator De Ville deluxe eye level stove. The top oven does not heat up. I expect a fuse is blown. Where is the fuse box?

Check you heating element for blisters or cracks the elements are usually the first to go, if not a wire may have burnt off the backas far as a fuse not knowing model no. i would say there is none unless it is digitally controlled

My hamilton beach convection / rotissier over model 31197 oven button has a shortage in it, how can i fix it the button that turns the oven off and on, if you turn it on the oven doesn't come on but if...

Sounds like a contact problem in the switch-

Question: How old is the oven?
Is it possible that the switch is worn out?
If so-- and lets just say the switch cost $25, plus postage,
would you want to invest that money, and time, and be without the oven while you wait for parts,
or would you rather invest that money in a new one?

If you want to repair it, we need to dig into the insides, and do some trouble shooting--
Do you have the tools, and the interest to dig into it?

Please answer the above questions-- get back with me,
and we'll go to the next step that you prefer.

Eleectrolux canister sweeper power switch

There should be screws holding the handle asembly on to the top. One near the from, another by the handle, then slide the door near the back, there are 2 more screws there. with the handle off, you can get to the switch. Hopefully you can fina a replacement, alot of parts for the older Electrolux is No Longer Available.
