Hi,

You have to take apart the system for changing the gaskets.If you are not a technical savvy don't try for it.Here is the parts diagram for your machine.Many of my fixya customers took apart the system to change the valve and they suffered a lot to fix it again back.All the best.

Yes, remove the top panel on the right side is a p. stat with a microswitch on top, either that has to be replaced or the tube is blocked and it cannot read the steam pressure.

The group gasket needs to be replaced or cleaned.

Pasquini livia 90 will power up for only few seconds and then shut down you know what iy maybe?

Try this open the steam valve when turning the machine on, if that works then the vent valve needs to be replaced, or the p.stat is damaged.

My husband removed the steam wand from our Pasquini Livia because I am running out of steam too soon and I thought the wand needed to be tightened. Now we need to know exactly how the springs go back when...

There should be a brass disk also. The spring goes in first, then the brass disk with the curved side down, then the wand, and then the nut.
Low steam pressure, could be a sign of scale build up, or the heater is getting covered with sediment. The heating element is on the bottom of the boiler on a Pasquini. Also check you pressure gauge. It should b shutting off at 1.1bar of pressure. If it is lower that could be another cause of low pressure. It can be turned up by the pressurestat.

You need to replace the brew head gasket. It becomes hard and will not seal. Order 2 gaskets because 1 always fails on Friday before a big party on Saturday.

The handle is leaking water

Your brew head gasket needs replacing. They get hard after about 6 months to a year depending on how long the machine is on. if it on 24/7 it need to be changed every 6 months. If turned off daily every year. The gasket is up where you install the portafilter to make espresso. The black ring is rubber and that is what need to be changed. Have one setting right here on my desk.

If you are local to us perhaps in Orange County, CA we can provide service. If not you may contact Pasquini to get a local certified repair location near you.

As far as the pressure steam valve goes, you most likely simply need a new o-ring kit... we offer kits for new and older units. Older machines would use Part# KSWV-2 for $5.40, newer units would use Part# KSWV-2 for $4.30. I could explain how you could do this service yourself.

Pasquini. Livia 90 intermittently building up too much pressure

The part that will solve your problem is an upgraded heating rewire kit which will control pressure electronically, not manually. The rewire kit is Part #90000, $28

You may also need a new micro switch which is connected to your PStat with the rewire kit. The micro switch part #7633905, $13

Leaking from the grouphead

The fix to this problem is replacing the group head replacement done every 8 months to a year. The part number is #90907 $4.50+shipping and I have this in stock.
