Problem for Projection Televisions

Generic problem for all Projection Televisions

I have JVC TV Model:AV.35750,

I have JVC TV Model:AV.35750, chasis no.A56 date Feb 97.When i try to switch on with remote RED light in front flashes and switches off. Visual inspection of the circuit brd reveals all ok. checked all part around power supply all ok replaced IC STRS5708, and still no effect pls help thanks.

I replaced 1000uf 16v capacitor marked as C926 on the brd with 1000uf 25V which I had. TV is working fine now but I have new problem which is not serious but annoying. I have on the top of the screen white horizontal lines of approximately 4inches wide from top to bottom. I tried to adjust the screen with little improvement, I am still looking for another component in the HV area. Any sugestions ?? Thanks.
