According to a number of web site blogs, consensus of opinion points to a tv, made in Slovakia and possibly a rebranded bottom end Sharp. It doesn't seem to matter though because TV's are so reliable now and with a 12 month warranty, for £200 with all that on it, who really cares?
It is made for Costco, Sainsbury, Tesco bla bla bla.

Yes most new TVs have a motion control option or you could turn your TV onto its game mode setting which should eliminate this.

I have the 47" XVT series LCD Vizio, and notice a distinctive "slow-motion" moment pretty often when watching hd tv shows. Is there a quick fix? Do i need to upgrade from the manufacturers hdmi cable that...

First check your settings options on how the tv handles HD signals. the settings determine how fast the transition periods are when sampling pixels interlaced or progressive. Be sure the tv is on auto-set for 420p-1080i input signals.

if the problem is still there:

Yes, try using a better grade HDMI cable with better impedance characteristics. this is a good idea anyway but probably not the cause of this problem.

if the problem is still there:

Check the software compatibility between the tv's media input devices and the tv. The tv software may need upgrading and your cable provider should do this for you as well as the manufacturer of the tv.

I need a sector watch expert.

There are no bad motions for watches - they are designed to withstand all motions, except very hard knok/hit.
You do not need a Sector watch expert, as all watch brands use movements made by few manufacturers and all decent watchmakers know them from A to Z. Only very expensive watch manufacturers produce their own in-house movements - Sector is not in that league.
Contact that shop and ask for full explanation what and why went wrong.

Rate me, please.

Toshiba 50HM66 DLP. Picture is blurry/slow motion.

Because of the price of the part it is a legitimate estimate. It is a bummer that prices drop like they do to buy new but as you can tell the manufactures are not too concerned about customers repairing 2-3 yr old TVs.
Sorry about the dad news,

Jerky video on antenna feed of ABC network programming

You didn't say so but I believe the TV you're using that having the problem is a TV that uses motion compensating frame interpolating technology... a common feature with 120hz and 240hz LCD TVs. I have one of these types of TVs and I have this issue with ABC as well. ABC has begun dropping video frames from some of their primetime shows (the ones that start at the 8e/7c time slot seem most effected) to speed up the broadcast to a point where they can get an extra commercial in. On normal TVs, including the older 60hz LCDs, this is not really noticeable. However, for the motion compensating frame interpolating technology, the TV's video processor must sync up with the 'telecine' processing (conversion from the originally filmed 24fps to broadcast 60fps) so that it can eliminate the copied frames that the telecine processing produces before it can create the interpolated frames between the original frames. When the TV's processor hits a missing frame, it loses sync and has to rejoin and causes the jerky motion you're seeing.

For a solution, you can turn off the motion compensating frame interpolation tech on your TV. Each manufacturer calls it something different but the name will have something to do with smoothing out motion like 'Smooth Motion'. In this case, you need it off for the motion to be it's smoothest (not the case with most TV though).

For a better solution, send a complaint to ABC and your local ABC affiliate.

(PICTURE OFF FOR SAFETY)

Was it professionally installed? If so, by default, the manufacturer puts a sensor that is to be attached to the brake pedal. So you cannot watch dvd or tv while driving. Check the install diagrams, move the brake/motion sensor to something that is on when the car is moving, Radio, A/C Controls, etc. Best of Luck.
