Question about Garden
I have seen your question here for a long time. I don't understand why you are reluctant to give Google your particulars ... who is it that will be your silent business partner? Google. Who will be charging you? Google. Who will you be paying? Google. Who knows better about Google sales programs than Google? No one. You don't want to share with Google, but you are willing to share with a million or so viewers here on this anonymous self-help web site?
The particulars you have posted here are of scant meaning to any but the most experienced of www business persons. As I understand it you want to advertise. Great ... go do it. Now there is a cost to advertise. That cost appears to be .05 cents per click. Who told you to sit aside $300.00 for every button push? Google? Are you a manufacturer or are you a fulfillment distributor? If you are a fulfillment distributor, I can understand the manufacturer wanting you to budget $300.00 for each order placed (presuming that $300.00 is your cost), but not for every inquiry (button press). The manufacturer wants to be paid when you order product. This is an expensive product, apparently. Is your product selling for $300.00? I would think a product that costs you $300.00 should sell (Keystone) for $599.99. It would appear you will have to pay Google .05 cents every time someone clicks on your link. That sounds a little pricey to me ... but maybe that is what it is to advertise there.
Not knowing a thing about your business or your product or your relationship with Google, I would say you should sit aside several thousand dollars to get ready to pay Google for the button presses and hope the orders start rolling in. You should also have some $ set aside to buy the merchandise based on your expected volume. 500 units per month, for example, would require $150.00.00 on your part. I would expect the manufacturer would give you a price break the second quarter or so if you kept up a good payment history.
Does this answer your question my friend?

If you are referring to selling online first thing you can do is to setup an online store. You can hire an expertise eCommerce website to design your store.
You need to design a professional, easy-to-navigate site that loads quickly at both dial-up and broadband speeds.
Register your URL on all the major search engines (including Google.com and Yahoo.com) to make sure your site shows up in relevant searches. Include keywords in meta tags in HTML files to increase the chances of getting hits from search engines. You can also advertise your Web site on heavily trafficked sites and through banner swaps. You ca n also get listed in local directories and on referral Web sites
Another choice is to go to sites like Amazon.com or Half.com to sell used books, CDs and other items at a fixed price. You can list items in exchange for a percentage of the sale. Avoid sites that charge you a fee to post advertisements.
