maybe you should clear up your memory card and release disk space. and if the camera still have the nosie, maybe there is something wrong with your lens. the lens maybe too loose or too tight.it has something to do with the lens mount. www.skiliwah.cn/ http://www.digitalcamera-parts.net/

Hi, There are two possibilities for said problem, one is ccd imager chip failure that will be replaced and other is jammed aperture that is inbuilt in lens mechanism and lens assembly will be replaced. In either problem, camera needs visual check of qualified tech, local camera repair shop will help you. Thanks.
If it is a rechargeable battery, it may be bad. Start with that first. If your camera will accept standard AA batteries try those too. (just to test) Your 330 requires a LI42B or LI40B battery. Check page 47 of your manual. Tells you about the battery. Your described problem sure points to a bad battery. Don't have the manual?? Download it here free. Thats a nice camera you have.
i am having the same problem with mine , its been like it for the past year now. i am only 14 so my parents think i have dropped it bu i havn't i need a soloution quick because i love taking photos of me and my friends. the olympus f3-330 it a really good cam' but now it doesnt even switch on or turn off . ! you cannot take pictures and the screen comes up in lines and make a beeep beeep noise then the lense goes in and out : / .
Lens is stuck!... Possible some dust won't let the zoom to move.
Hold upsite down the lens and very softly tapped around.but do not force the lens. then try to turn on in same condition. If did not worked
try to oposite , Show lens optic to up to sky and try again.
If did not moved you need techguy to remove and clean the lens base from dust and lubricated again.

Probably lens failure. Since there are so many cases on this site of the same symptoms, I would guess that it is an inherent problem with this camera. Ultimately, Olympus, who used to make top quality SLRs, are now making expensive disposables.
Unfortunately the camera does not have a menu option to take images in black or white or sepia. You can take them in color and then using photo editing software modify the image to be monotone or sepia in color.
Not really a solution, but I think you have the same problem I do. I believe that the shutter is sticking. Mine will work for one shot every 3 or 5 power cycles (turn it off and on again)
