I can't connect my hp 2790 pocket pc with my laptop can you tell me please if i have to download a programm so my laptop can recognize my pocket pc?thanks

Glad to help YOU!

You don't need to download and to install nothing particularly! No need of that.
When your PC doesn't recognize your laptop or any other attached device via USB it means there's a faulted USB connector. It could be on the PC the broken one, or it could be on the laptop.
Try different variants of connection. But first check the USB ports of the PC and laptop by attaching to each machine another device (iPOD, PDA, digital camera etc. - all via USB).

But there's another way to connect a laptop and a PC: via Wi-Fi and via Bluetooth.
Did you try to connect them like that?

If other USB devices are woking fine, it means that the USB ports on the system are OK. The issue could be with the mouse. So, I suggest that you should check the mouse by connecting it on some other system. Also, try another mouse with your laptop and see if it works.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!

HP Laptop drive won't work and it won't recognize any usb port

Install a new one. There is one screw in the bottom of the machine that holds it in. Remove the screw, remove the old DVD/CD, remove any mounting hardware that might be on it and install on the new drive, insert and replace screw. You are now ready to rock.

My Computer and iTunes does not recognize my iPod

Hi,

Try connecting this ipod to rear USB port on your desktop computer and then try this out

  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step
It should work fine

Why isn't the charging icon always animated (flashing)?

For Mac users "When you plug your iPod nano into a power source, the charging icon appears?it's a lightning bolt over a battery. Depending on the state of the battery, it may or may not animate (flash between gray and green). In either case, the icon indicates the battery is charging successfully. When the battery is fully depleted, the iPod nano may not appear in iTunes until it has been charged for about 10 minutes. The non-animated version of the icon, shown above, appears when your battery has been fully or nearly depleted of charge. This appears for up to 10 minutes. Note: If your iPod nano is connected to the computer, the computer won't see it until after that 10 minutes has elapsed. After that, you'll see the ""Do not disconnect"" screen. If the charging icon is flashing and your computer doesn't recognize it,Can't see your iPod in iTunes or or the Finder? Remember these five basic suggestions when you run into a problem with your iPod. If one of the following doesn?t help, read on for solutions to specific problems. Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall , Restore Reset your iPod. Retry with a different USB or FireWire port. Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates installed. Remove iTunes software and then reinstall iPod and iTunes software from latest versions on the web. Restore your iPod. See ?Updating and Restoring iPod Software? in the user's guide. Still can't see your iPod? Several things could keep iPod from appearing in iTunes or in the Finder when you connect it to your Mac. The most likely causes are listed below in logical order (you'll find information for both USB and FireWire iPod connections). Check each one starting from the top of the list to see if that is what's keeping iPod from appearing. Battery depleted? If you have an iPod nano, click here to find out what you'll see if the battery is depleted. If this is what you are seeing, wait 10 minutes while iPod nano is charging. You're using USB instead of FireWire If you use USB instead of FireWire to connect, it won't appear in iTunes unless you update to Mac OS X 10.3.4 or later. If you can't update your software, then use FireWire instead. Note: iPod shuffle and iPod nano are compatible with USB only. With any model of iPod (except for iPod shuffle), if you connect it to a low-powered USB port (such as one on your keyboard or bus-powered USB hub), the following alert may appear: If you click OK, your iPod won't appear. Make sure that you connect your iPod directly to one of the computer's USB ports or to a powered (as in connected to an electrical outlet) USB hub.
