Are you hearing a beep for a long time? You have not mentioned properly what are the other symptoms too, so I guessed one probability. If my assumption is the real case, then your RAM(s) have been dislocated from its slot(s). Re-assemble your RAM(s) and restart your computer. Please let us know, if this was not the actual case or this solution didn't help you.

Solution 1:
1.Disconnect all cables and connectors with in a cabinet except power supply (SMPS)take out RAM and clean it with cloth and Reinstall it on same place. And you can also check with new RAM. If this step not solve your problem,go to next step. 2.Check with New SMPS if it doesnt solve problem, your motherboard may faulty.

Compaq Presario SR1610NX won't turn off, and won't

The problem could be a hardware problem.
You can try removing the ram to see if it's faulty otherwise I am afraid you are unlucky because could be a motheroard problem so the only solution is to bring your laptop to repair service.

Temperature for laptop is high

Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

2004 Chrysler Pacifica Blower won't work

Usally when a blower motor resistor goes bad the fan still runs on high. The resistor lowers the voltage going to the fan to make it run slower. The high setting usually goes straight thru. Resistors are usually easy to get to, under good on the firewall or under dash passenger side. Cost about $24 at parts store. Replace with new if that doesn't work return it.

Radiator fan relays

You need a book. The fans come on when the pressure switch sends a signal to the BCM to energize the fan relays. If the freon charge is low the ac system won't build up enough high pressure to activate the fans. If the pressure switch is bad the computer won't know the pressure is high enough to need the fans. And so on.

Won't start but CPU fan vibrates but will not go full blast. Intermittant

It appears you have a faulty CPU fan and it is causing the CPU to overheat and shut down.
I suggest you replace the CPU fan. remove any dust from the heatsink and put new heatsink compound on the CPU/heatsink.
