SOURCE: File Error?? Please help
I found a solution to the problem.
1. Upload all the pictures to the computer and save them.
2. Press the Menu button. (On my computer, it says "Menu/ok.)
3. Scroll to "Setup 2" button.
4. Go to Format, and press "yes."
5. Go to reset and press "yes."
All your pictures will be cleared and there won't be any file error, and as for the deleted pictures, you will have already saved them on your computer.
I hope this helps.
And by the way, I wouldn't buy a new disk, because the same problem is bound to occur again sometime, and you'd have to buy a new disk everytime.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

SOURCE: when im viewing the photos
I need more information in order to help you.
What software are you using, and where are the pictures located? If you have not yet transferred them to your computer, the application may not be able to access them fast enough, and could result in this error.
Transfer first, try again from the local drive.
If that does not work, please include additional information including the software in use, location of images, file formats, and platform and OS you are on (PC, Mac, etc.).
