F0 code means that there is a thermistor control failure,Recommend you replace the electronic range control. The part number should be wb27k5172.but need full model number to confirm.

The F7 code is A=function pad button jammed or B-Bad clock.try to unstick the button or again replace the electronic control.

SOURCE: GE JT912-30 single wall oven "help" with F7 - F0 error

I have a double oven GE Profile. The error message FO appeared. I shut off the circuit breaker for 30 minutes or more and the oven works but without warning FO reappears. FO message means there is short in the clear Off touch button. The only solution replace the complete panel. My cost delivered $328. Ouch!

Getting F7 code on a ge profile performance oven , oven light will not turn off and control panel will not respone.....beeps when I push CLEAR OFF button.

F7 A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)
Try gliding your finger flat across the keypad rapidly and see if you can unstick the key / touch pad. Usually once this code appears it will repeat.

On self cleaning ovens this is the service check:

Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

Thanks for using FixYa!

F7 error code

Hi Kathryn, I believe that I have already sent you my solution via another route. Hope you received it. Basicaly for anyone else with this problem, it is caused by a short circuit envolving the ribbon cable which connects the touchpanel to the electronic control. The solution varies slightly depending on whether you have a metal or plastic touch panel. If you have a plastic touch panel, you need to add some extra insulation between the two pieces of ribbon cable in the slot where it exits the touchpanel. You need to slip it down as far into the slot as it will go. A piece of paper, a piece of file card, a thin piece of mylar will all work just fine. If you have a metal touchpanel, you need to insulate the edges of the slot as well with paper or mylar. Insulate both edges. If you don't have two sections to the ribbon cable, obviously you can't put insulation between the sections. If you have a plastic touch panel and only one section to the ribbon, you are out of luck. There is nothing you can do except to purchase a new touch panel. Cleaning the contacts is a myth. It doesn't help. Hope this helps. Please let me know your results. F7 code

GE, F7 is a stuck or shorted keypad. You can unplug the keypad ribbon cable from the main board and try to clean the ends with an eraser. See if the code comes back. Catriver...post back.
