Question about Acer Aspire 5920-6727 Notebook
Try remove the battery and unplug it from the AC. Hold down the power button for 35-45secs. plug AC back and see if you can power it back on. If not, the motherboard is shot.

This is a mother board problem. Ihave the same problem with mine.
I have found a couple of faulty fets in the power supply (on the mother board). I have ordered some extra components and going to try and fix it over the coming weeks.
I will let you know how I go.
