Question about Kodak 6800 Thermal Photo Printer
Hello and good morning:
My printer 6800 gave the message "paper jam 71". We have swapped the print position sensor and the engine motor of paper that is beside the power supply. But the message continues. Makes 5 or 6 evidence and then gives the error. I turn off, I would call and make 5 or 6 more evidence. If you answer me, my email is firstname.lastname@example.org

Paper jam 71 is an error that occurs when a driver on the controller board (IC-28) begins to wear out, or the timing gets thrown off. This causes one paper feed motor to drag the other one. This error is normally accompanied by a loud grinding noise because of this. Kodak's newest firmware version is supposed to fix the problem. If that has no effect then the fix is to replaced the controller board.
