Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
First reset the router (by holding down the reset switch in the back for 20 seconds), then if after configuring it (acording to manual and ISP information) it's still not working, i suspect the router is defective...
You could also try updating the FIRMWARE from the Linksys web site even if you are at the latest version, some times re-flashing the firmware helps solve bugs that could be in your present firmware
After all of the above you unplug the WAN ethernet cable from the router and the corresponding WAN LED is still ON, ther is defenetely something wrong with the router, return it for exchange.
