I have a kenmore Elite Oasis Top Loading Washing Machine making a tremendous noise during the spin cycle. Can the machine be fixed to eliominate this noise? Kenmore Elite Oasis Washing Machine Total Care Flex Washing Machine QuietPak 2 Model 110.28032701 Ser CW3470240 Typ 581

    I checked the suspension springs and they looked okay - the top part on one of the spring assembly is turned away from the drum while the other three spring assemblies top pieces are turned towards the drum - might the spring assembly being out of line with the other three spring assemblies be an issue?



    Also the video of how to take the shell off the washing machine does not apply to my machine. the three sided shell is bolted to a top frame and bottom frame and the back access plate - I have had to do a lot of disassembly of the washing machine to look at the suspension springs.

Check the suspension spring inside the machine. Here is a picture and the part to show you what it looks like and case you need to order them. Here is a video to show you how to open the washer. This video shows a model with springs and you have the rods but it's just to show you how to get inside the washer.

Hi

This issue can either be due to the suspension rings or due to motor issue. Please check this link for exploded diagram of your washer---

Also, check the stator motor and the retainer, make sure no parts are missing. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Hello,

Since the motor turns regadless of the direction it turns itself is good and theirfore the problem with your washer i believe is going to be the control board,it is what tells the motor what direction and what speed to turn.

It's noisy Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Water leaking from bottom ofoasis top loading machine
you may not be leaking out the bottom. Your stand pipe may be clogged. If the stand pipe has a slight clog in it, the stand pipe will over flow, and the water "looks" as if its leaking from the bottom... These pump faster than your old machine, so the pipe will back up faster... hope that helps
