Question about HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Continues to turn itself on and off approx. every 30 sec to a minute. I pushed the # and 6 key which seemed to fix that problem, however it kicked it offline. I put it back online and now it turns itself on and off again.

My C6180 had the 0xc19a0035 Ink System Failure code, eventually the printer would power on and off every 15-20 seconds - continuously. The # and 6 key solution did not help me. Apparently some defective components were used in the construction of the logic board (see photo). On my C6180 there were 3 failed capacitors (the green cylinders - the puffed top indicates failure) and a 4th from the same manufacturer (TEAPO - many unfavorable web references to this manufacturer). I purchased 3x 330uF 16V and 1x 680uF 10v rated to 105 degrees Celsius (total about 60cents). On the logic board, the capacitors I replaced are labeled C613, C614, C660 and C662. If you are not comfortable replacing the parts yourself (or don't have a soldering tool), you will have to find someone who will. The time to repair should be less than 30 min - I did it in 25 min with only a solder pen. This fixed the on and off problem and also fixed the ink system failures the printer was having. A similar fix may apply to other HP printers. continues to turn itself on - acca299.jpg

This info has been so helpful along with this group of pictures:http://picasaweb.google.com/109215435720... The pictures show how to get to the logic board. Thank you for helping me fix my printer instead of turning it into a boat anchor!

Why will car not start from key? Just turns over until battery drained, seems too sluggish to start

Has the fuel pressure been tested? Are you sure the ignition starter switch is ok and doesn't have an open that causes a stall out when the key is released. We do not have the diesel engine in this country so repair info is limited. You need to stop guessing and consult an expert, you have replaced parts that I would never replace for this kind of issue, a total waste of money and your time.

Resetting service indicator

1) Make sure ignition is off
2) push & hold in left button (daytrip reset)
3) while holding in, turn ignition key into pos.1
4) keep holding button pushed in while "Test 1" appears in display
5) after a further approx. 5 seconds oil service inspection will appear (whichever is due)
6) release button when oil service/inspection are displayed
7) pushing and holding in the button for appr. 5 secs will reset the service interval
8) release button and switch off ignition. When restarting interval should be reset
hope this works.

How can i fix my dell venue 8 pro? It won't turn on at all.

Seems to be a common problem.
You are on the right track with holding down power button.

1. Hold down for 20 secs, Wait 5secs, hold down for up to 10 secs, it may turn on before then.

2. Does the screen have a dim glow, even though there is nothing on it?
Let it discharge itself so the glow is gone, may take some hours.
Plug it into charge for at least 30 mins.
Try to turn it on.

Basement flooded and got approx 12 inches of water in bottom of dryer let sit for a week to dry before trying when pushing start button will come on but wont continue running unless you hold button in ...

Sorry to say but you will need to replace the motor. After water gets in you can rarely save the motor no matter how long you let it dry. There is an internal over load inside the motor that is cutting out after 30 seconds and once it cools for 15 or 20 minutes then it resets .Hope you found this information helpful and thank you for using Fix ya.

Ignition keys relearn takes about 30 min to do. 30-Minute Learn Procedure 1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. 2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON; the vehicle will not start. 3. Observe the SECURITY tell tale light. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will turn OFF. 4. Turn OFF the ignition switch, and wait 5 seconds. 5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 - two more times - for a total of 3 cycles of 10 minutes. 3x10 = 30 minutes. The vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch turn from OFF to CRANK Important: Turn the Ignition Switch OFF. The vehicle learns the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle. 6. Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password. 7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles. Without a scan tool you may have momentary starter interruptions while history clears itself.

Sometimes when my son attempts to start his car it will not start, he waits a few minutes then tries again and it starts. We have been told it is the chip in the key causing the problem. Is that possible

their is alot of possibilities of what could be wrong from the fuel filter getting plugged to you PATS system not reading your key . i would try another key. also try to turn the key on for 30 sec turn off and then on for 30 sec and thenturn over the engine.
