There should be a valve on the switch or on the compressor pump itself that opens when the motor stops and relieves the pressure between the tank and compressor, it's call the unloader valve. If this isn't opening the motor will draw much more amperage than it should to start the compressor and it may not even be able to start it at all.

When the compressor reaches the shutoff pressure (or you turn it off) it should go "PSSssss..). If it doesn't then the unloader valve isn't working. If it's in the cold, the unloader valve may just be iced up- warm it up with a hair dryer and see if it'll work properly.

It runs then at times stops and blows the breaker house

Its probably having a hard time restarting after stopping. It needs about 5 mins of rest before restarting. May need a start kit or a time delay installed. Could also be a loose line voltage wire causing high resistance and tripping breaker. Could also be that same breaker that trips. So many different thing. Hard to say but certainly is a reason to call a service tech to see if they can catch it before more damage is done, if its damage that is occurring.

My suburban dsi rv hot water keeps throwing breakers

Appears to be a short in tank circuit probably cause by a water leak in tank. These usually wear a rusty hole in the tank inside the cover and are not seen unless the thermostat covers are taken off. I would remove them and do a visual thoroughly. Anytime a fuse blows or a breaker trips is always a dead short unless you have a bad breaker. I would check those as well for vibrating, chattering noises, and/or smoking. If any of this persist, replace breaker. A melted heat element could trip them, but not usually for it leaves an open circuit instead of a shorted one.

We have a kitchen aid glass top stove loud pop then blows breaker

Leave the breaker off, pull the range out and remove the back panel. Once done I would start at the bottom where the plug comes into the range. Alot of times the terminal block comes apart and the breakage allows two hot lines to short blowing the breaker. If not the case, carefully look over ever wire to find exposed or burnt areas.

My boiler has gone off the make is ideal. It has no power to it but the rest of the house has power :(

If the breaker is on and not tripped, at the boiler there should be an off on switch with an old fasioned glass fuse in it these will blow from time to time. Should that be the case replace the fuse and turn it on. Should it blow again call in the experts, because ther are several things that could blow the fuse none good.

Sluggish on start and blows the breaker on compressor 17amp

replace the start capacitor on the motor body,it is located under a metal cover by loosening 2 screws,it is getting weak, also if you leave this breaker jumped, you will soon over heat the motor windings and ruin the motor

Electric Air compressor just hums then trips breaker.

usally there is a releaf valve that takes the pressure off the compressor while it is resting. If that pressure is not off when the drive piston starts the motor will overload and blow the the breaker or reset. Check for a releaf valve for when the unit has reached full pressure

Just started blowing the breaker. Late in the day so I turned it off.

4 grp Rio, probably running on a 50Amp breaker. Check the electrical connections on the pump(if you model has an internal pump it would be above the switch there is a 3 connector bridge.
Check the switch, there may be loose connection, also check the plug and receptacle.
Check the element connections that would be the most likely suspect for a breaker blow.
Check to make sure that nothing else is on the same breaker as the machine.

Most likely you have a bad or weak circuit breaker. Consult an electrician for breaker change out. Make sure that it isn't hooked up with a GFI plug. They will not work on a GFI.
