Turn the power off for 1 minute, possibly resetting the board.

SOURCE: york

You may already have the info you need. Look on the reverse side of the access panel on the unit. Typically they have a diagnostic schematic next to or combined with the wiring diagram. York is owned by Johnson Controls and you can contact then at 877-874-7378 if you don't find the diagnostic codes I refer to.

SOURCE: Carrier Weathermaker gas 8000 will not ignite

Your hot surface igniter may be bad. It may be cracked which would prevent it from starting the burner flame.

I have an old York outside compressor/coil/fan unit, CDHF36-6A, that I need to replace as it is no longer repairable. What is the capacity of this unit and what Carrier unit would be a good replacement?

SOURCE: The led indicator blinks 3

Pressure switch open. Remove the small hose at the blower assy and gently **** on it. You should hear the switch on the other end of that hose change states. If not then it's the hose (cheap) or the switch (100 bucks but tough to find 2 years ago) or the wiring to/from or the control module. If it does do you have a bunch of white **** (the gasket) coming out of the black blower mount? I had to remove broken gasket and Permatex the seal to create the proper pressure; that's probably your problem as well.

SOURCE: (HVAC) Furnace Not Igniting Quickly

Make sure a back draft in the flue is not happening. Wind can blow it out until the flue heats up. The flame sensor may not be close enough to the burner flame. It may be weak and need to be replaced or if its an optical one it may be dirty and not see the flame very well. Its not wasting much gas but it puts extra wear and tear on the gas controls, is noisy, and, as you said, blows cold drafty air. A gas control system that has issues of any kind is not real safe. It needs to get fixed.

Furnace blinks seven times lockout do to retries will light up for 5 second then it turn off

7 blinks means unit is locked out it will stay locked out for one hour then try to light again it will try two times before lock out. Possible causes. Low gas pressure, Faulty gas valve, Faulty hot surface ignition or burner problem may cause this. Most common is Hot surface igniter.

York furnace code 7

The error 7 shows that the gas failed to ignite. That is because the sensor does not sense any flame. This can be because the sensor is dirty. You should look in the area of the jets for a wire that may be purple in color. It attaches to a bare metal probe that is shaped like the letter L This probe extends into the path of the flame from the jets. When it detects flame it tellls the controller that everything is good. When it gets sooty or dirty from use it cannot detect the small electric currents that are present. Clean it with scotchbrite. Error 7 means that the furnace is locked out and wont restart for an hour. You can shut the power off and turn it back on to reset it.

The furnace control on a York furnace is locking out due to unable to ignite flame

possibilities are many, no spark due to ng ignitor, if draft induced , fan not coing on or has blocked flue, if unit is condensing type might have condensate in drian line, if standing pilot type thermo couple bad so not sensing pilot. so you see not enough info of what type unit you have to help narrow down possibilities

I believe you may have sanded the thermocouple, the sensor is usually a flame sensor and it will be round and look like a button. These will get dirty and not see the flame, you can try cleaning it with a soft cloth and glass cleaner once you locate it. This piece sends signal to the board letting it know there is flame. It should have wires that head to the board and plug in.
