If you have a 2007-2010 model Quinny Buzz you need to remove the infant foam fabric from the sub seat (seat frame) and replace it with the 2nd stage seat fabric (also known as the XL)
For full instructions on how to do this please visit our Facebook page Dorel UK Customer Services and view the Handy Hints & Tips photo album.
It's a bit of a black art! Frame must be fully open to fit seat unit, then the seat unit should side straight down those two guide posts to a nice double click sound. Yeah right! Keep wiggling you'll get there.
A new seat for a sixteen year old stroller is a mission impossible. On the off chance try www.emmaljunga.com click customer service and ask them. Maybe a newer model seat may fit the old Viking frame. No doubt the rest of the frame is still fine. I'd like to see a Bugaboo frame do sixteen years!
Hope I can help you out with this...for me it was quite easy once you get the hang of how to fold the stroller system at the smallest possible fold. You have to have the seat at the lowest position, next you fold the front wheels inward so that it is flat against the stroller, then fold the handle all the down toward the stroller frame so that it is flat. NOW you have the stroller at the smallest fold. Remove the SEAT from the Stroller frame and place it on top of the stroller (FYI - the adjustable foot plate should still be attached to the SEAT and it fits directly ontop of the 2 metal pieces that protrude from the stroller that you normally instert the seat into)
NOW it will fit inside the Stokke Travel Bag.
Removing Seat
It is necessary to remove
the seat from the frame
when preparing to use
the car seat adapters.
Unzip seat zipper at the
back of the seat. To unclip the seat from
the frame, fold stroller enough to
relieve the tension on the clips.
Before you put click the seat unit on, ensure that both of the upright prongs (black) are pointing directly upwards. Click on the seat, this should then be completely horizontal (ensure that you hear both sides clicking onto the frame) Once the seat is on, then adjust this to the normal/required postition. I hope this helps.
There is usually a stroller bar attached to the back of the stroller. If it is not there, check other places on the stroller(i.e.underneath or under the handle, once u find it it will click into two small holes on bothe sides of the strollers seat. I hope I was able to explain that well enouph to help u, if u have not been helpled already
