Sounds like a power supply filter cap has gone bad.

The hum you're hearing could be the 60 Hz AC, especially if it is a low frequency.

If that IS what it is, the Zoom G2 was just a coincidence.

SOURCE: Reverb problem

I highly doubt the reverb pan is dead, there are TL072 opamps on the input and output of the Reverb pan. Check those out. You can get the schematic from fenders website here. U6A and U6B are what you are looking for.

The volume control knob PROBABLY is broken, dirty or has bad soldering to the circuitry.

Use some CRC226 in the control if dirty. While you have the unit apart, check the soldering and for any circuit board cracks.

Reverb issue on stag 20 ga r amplifier

If you're experiencing a reverb issue on your Stag 20 GA R amplifier, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the reverb tank: The first thing to do is to check the reverb tank, which is the part of the amplifier that creates the reverb effect. Make sure that the tank is properly connected and securely mounted. You can also try tapping the tank with a non-conductive object, such as a pencil, while the amplifier is on to see if you hear any reverb effect. If you do not hear any reverb effect, the reverb tank may be defective and need to be replaced.
  2. Check the reverb control knob: The reverb control knob on your amplifier allows you to adjust the amount of reverb effect in your sound. Make sure that the knob is turned up to an appropriate level and not turned all the way down. If the knob seems to be stuck or not working properly, it may need to be replaced.
  3. Check the connections: Make sure that all of the cables and connections between the amplifier and any other equipment, such as a guitar or effects pedals, are properly connected and not loose. Loose connections can cause intermittent reverb effects or no reverb at all.
If none of these steps resolve the reverb issue, it may be necessary to take your amplifier to a professional for repair or maintenance.

Marshall as50d reverb och corus fungerar inte

It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with the reverb and chorus effects on your Marshall AS50D amplifier. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the settings. Make sure the reverb and chorus effects are turned on and that the appropriate parameters are set.
  2. Check the cables. Make sure all of the cables are securely plugged in and that there are no loose or damaged connectors.
  3. Check the amplifier. Make sure the amplifier is functioning properly and that there are no issues with the speaker or power supply.
  4. Check the guitar. Make sure the guitar is functioning properly and that there are no issues with the pickups or wiring.
If you have checked these things and the reverb and chorus effects are still not working, the issue may be with the amplifier itself. In this case, you may need to have the amplifier serviced or repaired by a professional.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

How can I fix reverb?

Either the spring driver circuit blew or the SPRING INSIDE BROKE.
You gotta get in there. Take out the spring unit and check if there is a tensed spring in there. If so, check the connectors. Also check the footswitch plug in the back of the amp, plug and unplug a cable several times, sometimes it becomes dirty and does not let signals through. You can check if the reverb has no drive by tapping the spring while the amp is on and the reverb volume is up. If it sounds, your reverb is fine but not receiving input. That would be the driver circuit. Take it to a Tech and explain.... GOOD LUCK !
