It's not suppose to get off the screen. Unless your trying to switch modes, which deg is what you normally would be using. If not then it says it right on the front of it.

There is a faint metal coating on the glass where the cable attaches, you would have to find another screen with the same spacing, of the horizontal and vertical lines, and try to attach the horizontal and vertical cables to that.

Yeah I had the same problem, you need to open your calculator and check if all the screen cables is alright, i had just put sellotape on the back of the screen from inside so that the screen hold better, and it works for me if for you not maybe something broken in the schema but try it. The thing I know for sure the problem is in the screen or from where it get the data the schema. Tell me if it's working

In [RUN], screen press [OPTN][F6:->][F5:ANGL] [EXE].
Exemple 18.53 deg
18.58 [F1 Degree symbol] [EXE] shows 18.58. At the bottom of the screen appears a new option DMS with a left arrow. By pressing the corresponding key [F5], the screen displays 18 deg 34 min and 48 secs. To enter an angle in DMS, exemple the one above, you procedd as follows:
18[F4]34[F4] 48 [F4] [EXE] displays 18.58
Hope it helps.
