Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
This is usually due to a firmware bug, try resetting the phone.
If resetting didn't resolve the issue try reprogramming your phone, its free and is very useful indeed.
To do so you need to have the USB data Cable of your phone, that comes with a new piece, if you have it then download this update utility from the vendors site, install and run the application.
The application will tell you on how and when to connect your phone, its easy as 123 and will definitely resolve the issue.

Note: Backup your data first as this will make your Phone as "Out of the Box" condition.
Having problems in doing so, do tell me. I'm here for you.
Thank you for using FixYa!, Keep visiting..

If you think I was of help, your token of appreciation in the form of rating and a testimonial will be esteemed.
Concerned, Nooh

Infocus x10 overheating

I have had this problem a few times on the X10. The reason in my case has been to much dust on the air filter before the lamp. I usually clean it my self, but the X10 needs to be opened. If you don't feel skilled to do so, you can try use a vacume cleaner on all ventilation openings. If that doesn't help, take it to a skilled workshop. PS. This can also cause colour problems and stripes on the picture before it stops completely. The X10 should have had a changable filter in front of the lamp filter. Apart I'm very satisfied with the X10. Brg Tom

I have a GE Simon Security System with a GE Simon 3- X10 Line Carrier Transformer that powers a siren. Since the X10 transformer was installed, I constantly get sensor 'failures.' Although the panel...

X10 is a signal format transmitted over the power lines, there is no special X10 wiring in the house as such. The siren and your outside lights are X10 receivers which are sent a signal from the X10 transformer connected to the alarm panel. The alarm panel sends the codes which are transmitted as X10 to the X10 external devices. Most houses now days have at least two 120 volt feeds coming into the main power panel, this provides the 240 volt required for electric stoves and dryers. Because of the two separate feeds split at the panel, the 60 cycles is usually out of phase with each other. To get X10 to work and stay in phase on each side of the panel you need to have wired a passive coupler across both 120 volt inputs. This coupler keeps both 120 inputs in phase with each other and provides a clear X10 transmit across the house wiring.

My solstice keeps restarting itself. what is wrong?

If you have a micro sd memory card in, try taking that out and leaving it out. Then start it up again. That's the only way my solstice will work now.

Dehumidifier keeps shutting itself off.

For some reason it is overheating and shutting itself off. There is a law that all electronics are supposed to have a point to where it automatically shuts off if it gets too hot from a malfunction or loose connection in the circuit board. It is to protect the consumer. You either need to take it to a tech or get rid of it. Get a new one.
