Well I would say first try to reboot it. By turning it off and on again. Second I would say hit the enter button or go button. Let me know if that fixes it.

Start-->printers and faxes-->right click on the printer-->properties-->make sure it's set to print online.

Disconnect the USB cable, go to RUN and type in services.msc and then find print spool and right click, then choose restart.
