A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Check and see if this setup guide matches your device?
If it does we can probably search for more information.
Did you configure your router using WEP, WPA security (using passphrases) on your router?
Did you enable MAC address checking on your router?

Ok I have a new ee with linux and had all the above problems. Geek at best buy helped me understand that linux doesn't do things automatically the way windows soft ware does. It gets confused easily! Since learning to think differently and not expect things to happen automatically I've had NO problem! For starter delete every network you can in the network icon. Have it be blank. Then choose one of the wireless available and I bet you'll get on. Always go to the network icon to reconnect to an network you've used before, if you choose it from the wireless available you will start a new connection, the linux doesn't know which one to use and you see pending - not knowing why it worked once and now today you cant get on. Bottom line, until you learn to think like this operating system just delete all the networks each time, and then connect. Over time you'll learn more.........

Your firewall for the wireless is blocking the port. Go into your firewall settings and add the port from the printer to bypass the router. What operating system do you have? It should be in Control Panel under Security Center.
Let me know.

Your best bet is to soft reset the device, uninstall ALL samsung software off you pc including drivers. then ensure the phone is in ActiveSync mode and then install all software from the disc or samsung.com site and then connect the phone.
