Question about Nokia 2630 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

My phone was fine until it started to turn itself off and then back on again without me even touching it. This has currently stopped and now I cannot send any sms. I am able to receive sms and phone calls just not send any messages. I have ample credit and it is a pre-paid with Telstra and is about three years old. This is the first lot of problems I have had. My main type of communication is through sms, so it is very important to me. Thank you for your help.

Sir, for sending text messages :1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...
Good luck

My S107 worked fine the fist 5 minute flight. On my second attempt nothing would happen. The green light on the controller just blinks. Occasionally when I turn them both on the chopper just takes off...

Seems like your controller is not working. Try to change its batteries.
With new batteries try the following:
1. Turn the controller ON. Wait until green light stops blinking.
2. Turn the helicopter ON.
3. Give it throttle few times until it starts working.

Sometimes controller can still work even if has a blinking light. But these cases are very rare.

Keys stopped working.turned off left for a while took sim card out then back in - started to work again for a while. then stopped - now will not start up. screen flashes coloured lines then it tries...

Hi there

If you turn off the phone, remove the SIM, clean it with your finger to remove any dust, reinsert it and turn on the phone, does it work again (even for a short moment)? I know you've done this once already, but does it work momentarily if you do this again?

Please do not rate this reply or your reply will not be returned to me. Thanks.

Power goes off

Try resetting the unit.
Make sure there is no disc in the unit. With the unit on, go to the front panel and look for the STOP (square) button.
Hold it down until the unit shuts off by itself. Turn it back on it shoudl work fine.

Garmin NUVI 660 BlueTooth

I had the same problem, and this is how I fixed it. Now it's working fine.

Thank you for contacting Garmin International,

If you are currently running the most current version of bluetooth software, and you are still seeing issues where your compatible phone is still not connecting properly, please try the below procedure, which will reinstall the version of bluetooth you have downloaded in case there was any corruption during the transfer or installation of the bluetooth version.

1. Power the unit on

2. Touch View Map

3. Touch the ETA/Speed button in the bottom left hand corner.

4. press and hold your finger over the speedometer for 10-15 seconds until a new screen appears.

5. Touch next at the bottom of the screen until the top blue banner reads Bluetooth Status.

6. Touch UPDT P, then Touch yes.

7. At this point the unit should go to a page that says Updating Bluetooth Firmware, allow this to finish, once finished, press quit, then press and hold the back button. At this point, go back through and try to connect your Bluetooth device again.

On again, off again

Sounds to me like a bad battery. Go to a generic cell phone shop and ask them to put in a replacement battery to see if that fixes the problem. If it works fine, then just buy the battery for 30 or so bucks. If not, then at least you know its not the battery and you arent out any cash.

IPAQ turns itself on

Go to the ActiveSync options of your pocket pc and to go to Mobile Schedule and choose "Manually". I think it's set to sync automatically in a few minutes that's why it turns itself on.
