I have two LG Env's. One phone is recognized in Media Player 10 as having a memory card and the other phone is not. I have tried using different cards. I have synced one of the cards with music by using the recognized phone and card. I put that card into the other phone, and it is not still is not recognized.

menu,my pictures, options, manage my pictures, options, mark all, options, move,to card. Some phones have defects where the phone says memory card full when there is nothing on it., in that case youll have to take it in and get an exchange.
Go to media center, picture/video, my pictures, options, manage my pics, then check mark the pics you want to save to the card, then hit options again from the lower right screen and hit option #2 (move) then hit #1. to card. also works the same if you change phones and want to put pics in memory card on new phone.
I discovered I was sold and using a USB charging only connector. To remedy my problem I bought a memory card reader to place my phone memory card into so I could use it directly as a memory stick in my computer. It worked perfectly. Thanks
when a memory card is formatted through a phone, it will create folders where the media will be stored. this folder is not created by default or is not the same when you format it through a player.
to resolve your issue. have the cards reformatted using your phone. then put it to your computer. once this is done, you should be able to see folders where you can put specific medias to, like songs, pictures and movies. once you have it, just drag and drop the songs you want to copy then you will have access to those files on your phone to.
Go to Menu, then under the "Settings & Tools" section, choose option 8 (Memory). Choose option 2 (Phone Memory), then option 1 (Phone Memory Usage). This will tell you the available MB on your phone.
Or, go to Memory, choose option 3 (Card Memory), then Card Memory Usage.
If you have 0MB left on both, then you will need to delete some ringtones, wallpaper, music, etc. to clear up some space.
If you still have room, you will have to take the phone to a Verizon store. More than likely if this is the case, the phone has a glitch in the downloading. You may of downloaded a virus while downloading music/ringtones/wallpaper.
i had the same problem with my original "the v" you may want to check the file type. If you have wma files, you should try converting them to mp3 or vice versa. research to see what file types your phone supports. I had to take mine into the verizon store to have them update the software on my phone to be able to play mp3 files.
I believe the card is formatted incorrectly, this sometimes occurs when the new OS doesn't recognize the old files and sort of "partitions" them off to the side instead of deleting them.
You can try reformatting using the enV again or (if you still have the old phone) put the card back in it and delete the other files from there. Otherwise you can probably format it using your computer, seeing as you have a connection between the phone and the computer.
make sure your memory card its not full or damaged this will cause the phone to re-boot also try you sd card on your computer if your able to pull everything up then its your phone just take it to the nearest verizon store with the technicians
Since no one has answered this yet and I found a solution, I minus well help the people out there. This is how I do it: 1) go to menu 2) go to tools 3) go to USB Mass Storage This will allow your computer to recognize your phone/card and will open it. I highly recommend transferring all your photos and video to your card instead of your phone memory. This is how you transfer it from your phone to your card: 1) go to menu 2) go to settings 3) go to memory from here you can gain access to what is on your phone memory and your card memory. From this you can edit where you want to save your pics/videos/sounds to (either phone or card memory) and transfer your media files from your phone to your card or vise versa.
