What is the model number of your machine?

try unplugging, then while unplugged, hold in power button for 10 secs or so. then plug back in. (if that does not work, try holding in power button while plugging back in) good luck.

One simple thing you can try is to unplug the electrical cord from the wall for at least a minute then plug it back in and try the machine. This worked for me recently on an LG front loader that I was asked to look at. The machine wouldn't respond until I reset it then it worked fine.

Open the door manually.
Open the drain flap on front left bottom
The door release can be seen hanging, pull the cord, the door will open.
Close and open the door 2 or 3 times and your machine will work ok.

Follow this instruction............. ACTIVATING/DEACTIVATING
If you want to activate/deactivate the Child Lock function, press the Soil Level and Signal buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.

How It Works: 1. "Child Lock" can be activated while your Washer is running. 2. Once you activate "Child Lock", all controls (except for the Power button) will be locked until you deactivate "Child Lock". 3. The Child Lock button will be lit while it is in effect. When buttons, other than the Power button, do not respond, please check if the "Child Lock" function is on.

Hi just read your posting.Now what happens to the machine when you unplug the machine from the power outlet then plug it back in and turn the power on to it?When your husband changed the display board or "control panel" did he reconnect the wiring harness to the main control module?Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you rectify this problem.

I had this problem when I used TIDE 2X detergent (thinking 2X was the same as HE). This happened several loads. I had bought several jugs of Tide (larger ones won't fit in drawer). Somehow grabbed HE one next time and didn't have this problem. Tried the 2X another time or two with again the washer stopping and LED lights on/unresponsive.

Solution was to not use anything but HE detergent.

Still having problem with Fabric Softener dispenser.

OMG!! I just held the button at the end of cycle signal for about 3 seconds and the light went off! Now my washer is working!
