Please insert disk

This usually means that the motherboard cannot access the disk-drive on which you have stored your copy of Windows.

Check that the disk-drive is getting electrical power.
Check that the "data" cable to the disk-drive is tightly connected both to the disk-drive and to the motherboard.
Check in BIOS SETUP that the disk-channel is not "disabled".

So, the motherboard tries to boot from the CD/DVD drive, and/or from the 3.5-inch diskette-drive,
after you "insert disk".

Or, it could mean that your disk-drive has "died", and needs to be replaced.

It's time to take your PC to a professional technician.

I am a Kodak express dealer. I have a photo kiosk with a CPU with a RED colour motherboard I assume it is to be MSI motherboard. Not much information i can get from the Motherboard as there is no...

My advice is not to worry..and even try what I say ...take one unit ..and install any other Intel based motherboard...and run the disk they gave you ...after that install the drivers for that motherboard separately ..special the video one ..being a photo unit..and the issue is ..that no mater what kinda operating system they may use on that disk will work in almost all motherboard that is Intel chipped and the program will run in the operating system on the disk ...If you change the motherboard ..the only different thing will be the drivers...cause the devices like video card ..or LAN card may be different ..let them think they fulled you ..and install any motherboard with Intel chip ..that fits in the space ..and run the disk ..and after that run the motherboards own drivers disk to complete the installation ..but ..if it is a windows that runs..the drivers will almost all be installed by is not the motherboard that mater ..but the operating system and the software from that disk that makes the machine work ...I advice you even better ...Get to a smart guy with that disk . and isolate the software from the operating system ..and after that make your own recovery disk with whatever motherboard you afford ...
I only suggested Intel based motherboards cause of the unknown operating system ..but by elimination I dont think is MAC is either a windows or a LInux...

I have no local c drive how can i reinstall

* the existing disk-drive is not connected (power, data) to the motherboard;
* the existing disk-drive is "dead";
* there is no disk-drive at all inside the case;
* the motherboard has been told to "ignore" the device.

So, either:
* connect (power, data) the disk-drive to the motherboard;
* remove the existing "dead" drive, and install a new one;
* buy a new disk-drive, and install it;
* enter the motherboard's "BIOS SETUP" mode,
and use the "auto-detect disk drive" tool to "add" the drive.

P4pe x cannot detect hhd drive

If the BIOS cannot detect the hard drive then :-
1. The hard drive data cable or power connector may not be inserted properly.
2. The motherboard disk controller is faulty.
3 The hard disk is faulty.

To test the motherboard disk controller, connect another hard disk to the motherboard and go into the BIOS to see if it detects the hard drive.
If it detects the hard drive, then the other hard drive is faulty and need to be replaced.
Another way to test the "faulty" hard drive, connect the hard drive to an USB hard drive adapter and plug it into a working computer's USB port. If this computer sees it as an external hard drive and you can open the folders and files the the hard disk is OK, and the fault is a faulty disk controller on the motherboard.

How much is the maximum capacity of hard disk in p4vmm2 motherboard

Motherboards do not have hard disks but you can attach hard disks to them. Most motherboards allow you to connect several hard disks of various sizes. Most home computers only have one hard disk.

Open your computer back up look for the hard disk(s).
The capacity of the hard disk is usually on its label.
If not, you can look it up by the manufacturer and model name on Google to determine the capacity.

Depending on the size of the disk, 1 or more GB of the total capacity will be inaccessable because it is used to format the disk. (e.g. Windows might only "see" 28GB of 30GB disk.)

If this helps please vote for my solution.
