Hi there,

When do you get this message? Is it a home PC or office network?

Cause:

This problem occurs when the TEMP or the TMP environment variable has a space character in the folder name. For example, the following TEMP environment value may cause this problem: D:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Temp

Resolution:

To work around this problem, change the value for the TEMP or the TMP environment variable for the system account and for the user account that will be used to install SQL Server 2000 64-bit. If you want to restore the values for these variables after the installation, make a note of the values before you change them. To change the environment variable values, follow these steps:

  1. Create a folder at the root of the local drive and name it TEMP.
  2. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  3. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click Environment Variables.
  5. Repeat the following steps for both the TEMP and the TMP User variables:
    1. In the User variables list, select the TEMP variable, and then click Edit.
    2. In the Variable value box, type %drive%\TEMP, and then click OK.

Note %drive% is the local drive where you created the folder in step 1.
    3. Repeat steps a and b for the TMP variable, if it exists.
  6. Repeat the following steps for both the TEMP and the TMP System variables:
    1. In the System variables list, select the TEMP variable, and then click Edit.
    2. In the Variable value box, type %drive%\TEMP, and then click OK.

Note %drive% is the local drive where you created the folder in step 1.
    3. Repeat steps a and b for the TMP variable, if it exists.
  7. Click OK two times to close the System Properties dialog box.
  8. Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.
  9. At the command prompt, type the following command to verify that the TEMP and the TMP environment values are equal to%drive%\TEMP:

    set t

Note %drive% is the local drive where you created the folder in step 1.
  10. At the command prompt, in the root of your SQL Server 2000 installation folder, type the following command: setup.exe /l*v C:\TEMP\setupfail.txt
Note If you want to restore the values for the TEMP and the TMP environment variables after the installation, follow step 2 through step 7 to restore the original values.

Hope this helps you.

Looking at new freezer, what is the difference between Turbo air TSF-23sdr and TSF-23nm? product specs would not download. thks

Do you mean the MSF-23NM and the TSF-23SD? If so, you can find the information for them here:

http://www.turboairinc.com/TB-Products/Soliddoor.html

Basically, the difference between the two is that the MSF-23NM runs on more amps and is a new "maximum" series that Turbo Air came out with.

http://www.missionrs.com/MSF-23NM.html
http://www.missionrs.com/TSF-23SD.html

The product spec sheets at the two links above should be easy to download from our site. If you have any trouble, you can call us at 1(800)319-0690.

Computer won't boot or won't even enter setup

Try disconnecting all peripherals then boot up, except for those you need, i.e. video card, keyboard... If that doesnt work you may need a BIOS update... Refer to the picture below to find your BIOS code, the four numbers represent the date which you must use to find out if you need an update...

Error in tally 7.2

Hi,
This is vishu

Solutions to these problems needs common sense rather than tallyexpertise. Lets understand some feature and working of tally. Tallyprovides a backup and restore utility which collects all files of tallycompany into one file named tbk500.001. This way of tally backup iseasier to restore as this one file can be kept save and easily can berestored instead of all files in that folder. If any of the file getsmissing or gets corrupted tally data wouldn't work.
when data gets corrupted while working on tally and we are unable toopen the company then data can simply rewritten. Come to Companyselection menu. Press "Ctrl + Alt + R". Now select the company for re writing. 90% chance is that you problem would be get solved.
