Question about Dell Dimension 5100 (D51L1) PC Desktop
Try to turn the laptop upside down ...in case the disk felt out trough the hole of the tray ..and take a look at the tray face that it is a hole in which you have to insert a sharp object in order to manually eject the tray ..If you are lucky it will slide out ..and the disk will be in ..
Another way ..if it is stuck..is to remove the cd drive ..by removing the 3 screws in the back that are placed in the drive directions (disposed in triangle ) ..and after that eject the tray manually with a sharp object in that hole aside ...to have something to hold it , and pull it out..
once out ...disassemble with care and get the disk out ..
Lets hope that will be no need to take teh drive out and if you manually eject the tray you will be able to get the disk ..
after that copy the driver from it in another regular computer ..and put it on a memory stick ..and run it from there ..
