SOURCE: Playmobil RC Train set 4018 - have replaced all

Clean the terminals in the remote and at the end of the battery, also inside the battery compartments that holds the battery in the charger and the the train itself. i hadn't used ours for 10 years and hadn't realised that we had left the battery in the train and the 9v battery in the handset. Tried charging it and nothing, but once i had cleaned all terminals of the green residue that had built up, it charged fine and the train ran for 45 mins before needing a recharge.

Get new battery, I have 4 batteries, all will turn it on, get horn lights, sound. 2 do the exact same thing yours is doing, 1 runs about 5 min then starts into your problem, 1 is good and will run for about 20 mins.

Does the playmobil fire engine model 4821 make a noise or is it just flashing lights? If I brought the remote control model 4320 would this make the fire engine noises?

According to the details on their website, the 4821 only features flashing lights, no sound effects. The RC 4320 doesn't look like it has buttons for sound effects either, only controls for driving.

I have an older Carrier Heat Pump which I am trying to update the thermostat control with a Hunter model 44550. The problem is that the wiring to the current thermostat is as follows, G= green wire, R=...

JUMPER STAYS BETWEEN RC AND RH SO YOU HAVE INCOMING POWER FOR BOTH COOLING AND HEATING. THE WHITE WIRE YOU SAID C IS COMMON AND SHOULD BE USED IF POSSIBLE TO COMMON TERMINAL ON NEW STAT . IF THERE IS NO COMMON, THEN CAP IT BUT YOU'LL BE CHANGING BATTERIES EVERY FEW YEARS. I LIKE THE STATS WITH A COMMON POWERED OFF THE TRANSFORMER BUT YOURS MAY NOT HAVE A COMMON. THE GREY WIRE CONNECTED TO THE E TERMINAL IS FOR EMERGENCY HEAT. IT KILLS POWER TO THE HEAT PUMP, HEATS THE HOUSE ON IMMEDIATE CALL FOR HEAT WITH JUST THE INDOOR BLOWER AND THE INDOOR HEAT STRIPS. THIS PREVENTS ANY DAMAGE OR INCREASED DAMAGE TO THE COMPRESSOR IF YOU SUSPECT A PROBLEM.YOU SHOULD HAVE A TERMINAL ON THE NEW STAT THAT IS MARKED E OR PERHAPS X2 OR W3. THAT IS WHERE THE GEY WIRE GOES. IT IS POSSIBLE THE WIRE CONNECTED TO W DOES THE SAME THING AND YOU CAN GET BY WITHOUT THE GREY WIRE CONNECTED.ALSO SELECT SINGLE STAGE HEAT PUMP. SINGLE STAGE COOLING AND TWO STAGE HEAT . FIRST STAGE HEAT IS YOUR HEAT PUMP AND SECOND STAGE IS YOU STRIPS.
