Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Sony VAIO VGN-NR385e vista windows crashed

Is it telling you you don't have an OS?Could be HDD has died. That would be relatively an easy fix and not too expensive.See if you can find a working hdd the same type ,pop it in and see if your restore disks will work.

When i run an application through my computer an error occur.. c000005. i have a vista operating system.. this error occurs most specially when i play games.. the game crashes when this comes out. please...

i think he error is like 000000005 000000007 0000078 like that this means that system 32 file is deleted by the user so if u dnt want to format ur vista window so thre are 2 ways the 1st one is that u should repair the window through the same operating syatem 2nd way is syatem restore create a restore point and then restore ur window it works like factory restore in ur mobile do this and if this works then mail me at vicky.akon11@gmail.com

Windows will not start - Vista Support ad crashing it

You have installed "scareware" -- malicious software that claims to have discovered non-existent computer-viruses.

Restart in Safe Mode, and then use "System Restore" to restore your computer to an earlier date/time, i.e., _before_ you installed that "scareware". Or, in Safe Mode, try to "uninstall" the scareware.

Vista Home Premium crashed. Reloaded, www, graphics driver no-go

I would try to use the System Restore feature, if you have not already. Choose a date prior to when it crashed on you and it should work.
