Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
After following the HP troubleshooting directions, I was able to get my laptop to boot up. The computer worked over an hour then suddenly shut off. I have since been unable to get the computer to boot up. I have reseated the ram, changed the ac adapter, nothing. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your input.
You need to State some of your Symptoms... Like what you are seeing when attempting to boot.... is the screen just black?? do you see the BIOS POST... does it go to loading windows... do you see any lights turn on after hitting the power on button.?.. do any fans spin?? More Info.....
You might want to check the Heatsing Fins and the fan(s) they're probably clogged and your laptop is getting overheated and causing it to shut down... Unless it doesnt power on at all.. no lights no nothing... then it's most likely your motherboard..
