Hi yadav,
While most any DDR2 memory sticks will work on that mother board, if you want to be absolutely sure you can check at the Kingston website. You can match up the specs to be sure. Here is a link to Kingston. . http://www.kingston.com/flash/default.asp
Hope that helps

Memory settings for ddr

http://www.motherboards.org/mobot/motherboards_d/ECS/K7AMA/

Since the Processor Front Side Bus (FSB) support is 200 or 266MegaHertz (MHz), the ram memory will be DDR Sdram at either 100Megahertz or 266MHz.

That is PC1600 and PC2100, respectively.

2GB's maximum TOTAL amount for motherboard.
1GB per ram memory slot - Maximum

If you have a Socket A (Socket 462) AMD processor with a 200MHz FSB, I suggest DDR Sdram at 100MHz. (PC1600)

AMD processor with 266MHz Front Side Bus = either PC1600, or PC2100. I would go with PC2100.

Voltage in BIOS Setup is 2.5 Volts. That is is the JEDEC standard voltage, for DDR Sdram.
Ram timings will be dependent upon what the ram memory supports.

IF you have just ONE ram memory module ('Stick'), it goes in Slot 1.
(DIMM 1)
This is the ram memory slot the Processor reads first.

"When it comes to innovative motherboards ECS is not a company that first comes to mind. Not since the days of the K7AMA that offered DDR266 and PC133 memory options for AMD's K7 line of processors has ECS released a motherboard that has filled a gapping hole in the PC hardware market space. Lets just hope that the failure rate of the 945GCD-M is nothing like the failure prone K7AMA."

Hmmmmm,

3GB of RAM does not work

You need to check that the RAM sticks are of the same frequency, and also that the motherboard supports them. You could try using them one at a time. The best results are always achieved when you use matched pairs of RAM, which are of the same value.

137 GB. If larger it will subdivide into two or more disks.
Cannot find a support website for MATSONIC motherboards. You can  the Ram chips (usually up to 3GB) linited by you MB BIOS. By monitor interface you mean the Video card. It is a judgement call. Are you wanting it faster to see games or movies played glitch now? Personally ,W/O internet support of the MB or company support , I would not bother. Since you are willing to buy Xp and install it consider looking on newegg.com or elsewhere for a new compatable motherboard (Usually ATX) and start over. If you buy one with the same socket you can use the same CPU and usually the same power supply. Just my thoughts .
