Humidifier sopped working.

The display lights keep coming on with a beeping sound, for about 2 seconds, turning off, then coming on again. But the unit itself, fan, compressor, etc. don't come on anymore.

Hi,
I take it that the bucket is empty? I'd suggest making sure that the bucket is properly inserted back into the casing, and that none of the little actuating rods has got broken.

If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills.
If they do not, please hold off on the rating and add a comment with more details so I can try to help you further. Cheers, D

I bought a Kenmore dehumidifier a 2 weeks ago and it sounds like it is going to come one but then goes off - listening to it right now and it has been doing this for the last 15 minutes. Is this normal? ...

If you bought it 2 weeks ago, take it back and get a new one. A humidifier works kind of like an air conditioner, but a humidifier runs a larger Delta-T across the coil. In laymans wording, an HVAC unit might have a temperature split across the coil of 20 degrees where the temperature split across a humidifier might be 40 to 50 degrees. The reason for this is with a larger Delta-T, you are able to drop the air temperature across the coil and by doing this, your basically wringing the water out of the air. Because of this, it has safetys that a standard HVAC unit would not have. It usually has 2 low pressure switchs rather than one and it sounds like it might be tripping on one of them from lack or airflow or a low charge. Take it back and get a new one!!

Sunbeam warm mist humidifier model SWM2142 Change Light is on

Press and hold the Mist button for three seconds, the change light will blink and shut off. This is for a demineralization cartridge that you can buy separately it will turn on again after 30 days of use

Humidifier makes a beep when pluggged in but does not work. what could be the problem?

Is the bucket properly in place? If not, the machine thinks the bucket is full and will not come on.

The humidifier makes a beep when turned on,

The water tray is probably not installed correctly. Take it out and reinsert it. It has to close a switch when it is in place.Mine at home is really touchy it has to be put in just right to work.

My lg 30 is not working.

It is supposed to. There is a float that rises as the container fills. When the container is filled to capacity, the float is at its highest point and the humidfier turns off. At the same time, the red light comes on. This is normal. When you remove the container, the red light stays on b/c the float is still at its highest position. It is designed to do this so the humidifier doesn't run when the container is not installed. If the light does not turn off after you replace the container, give the humidifier a tap to move the float back.
