Question about GPS

Open Question

I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana with a ps3125sh Polar remote starter. About 3 weeks ago my grandson broke the red wire going to the antena right where it plugs into the antena. I unplugged the antena, and soldiered the wire back together. None of the buttons will function. Before that, all the buttons would work..remote start, remote door locks. I have checked all the other connections. None of the lights flash anymore. I dug out the brain box, and I find that there is a red led flashing constantly inside the box. I do not have the manual for this unit and am unsucessful at getting one. Help!!!!

SOURCE: TomTom 520 won't start

I was having the same problem! Until I discovered that there is no SD card inside TomTom 520, just a bit of black plastic! I replaced this with a real SD card and instantly TomTom came to life!
The map and sample music are installed on its internal memory: 64MB of Ram.
Maybe this is of some help.... It did the trick for me....

I wonder if the module has failed again, have you tried reseting the device?

I'm looking into this but I suspect that repairs are required again.

SOURCE: TV does not turn on/red led flashes 7 times in front

this is common issue with this model and through your troubleshooting is tied to y main board. blinking led on logic main in normal operation. when replacing y main always good idea to replace y upper and lowe buffer boards as they complete a circuit and sometimes replacing one without other could cause additional failure on remaining boards

Need to know what wires go to what terminals of the starter of a 2003 pontiac montana minivan

Should be two wires. The large red goes on the large terminal, and the purple goes on the small terminal.
The other wires with large ends go on the post with the red wire from the battery. The purple wire comes from the starter relay.

Pontiac montana 2002 interior fuse block removal

If the other windows are working, it would not be a fuse issue. You will have to take the inner door panel off, and check if the wires are getting to the motor, and not broke.

2002 pontiac montana with an occational starting problem

Go to Autozone and they will check your cars trouble codes for free and tell you what part you will need to replace. They are usually right 99% of the time. The crankshaft position sensor located behind the harmonic balancer maybe be bad. There is another crankshaft position sensor located on the engine block above and to the right of the oil filter. Or it could be the power train control module located to the right of the air cleaner box. This information is for the V6 3.4 engine. Buy the repair manual for your Montana and go to the engine performance section. The manual costs about $26.00

The wires with the large loops go on the big terminal. The purple wire likely is the one with the smaller loop that goes on the right terminal (facing the solenoid). That is ith trigger wire from the ignition key.Do not permit the wires from either terminals to touch.

Changing the starter solenoid on a 2000 Pontiac Montana

On your van the solenoid is attached to the starter. If you can get a solenoid separate (i don't know if you can) then you will need to take the starter off and remove the solenoid (2 screws holding it on) and the wires (on red and one black i believe) pay attention to which wire goes where because you don't want to reverse it on the new solenoid.
