Question about Samsung HL-S5087W DLP TV
I have the same TV with the same problem. Take the small rear plastic door off, the first one you come to, with one screw in the center holding it on. You will notice that it has a small tab sticking out of the rear. That tab holds down the switch in order to keep continuality. Install several layers of tape or a piece of popsicle stick on the tab so that it applies more pressure on the switch, it will help for a while. The problem is that the heat that is generated by the bulb distorts the tab a little bit and allows the switch to loose contact and the tv turns off. This will help for a while, then redo it. Wouldn't you think that Samsung would have a recall on this?
