I need to get a new blade assembly for my Breville CBL10. Apparently they don't make them anymore.

    Thanks for that. I am in Western Australia. I did see another comment about a business in Bondi Junction so will have to do some work to try and find a name.

Breville CBL10 has been a fantastic appliance but now electrical section works at slow speed only so I will get rid of it, however the glass jug complete with lid, blade etc is still perfect. Does anyone need this part? I am in Rockhampton.

Hello, I didn't see model #BBL600XL which is what
The jar has to be on for it to blend.

If you replace the jar first check the printing on your old jar. If your jar has blue print you will need a new jar and blade, Breville redesigned the jar and now the old blades don't work with the new jars. You tell the difference between the jars by the print color, old is blue, new is white.

BBL600XL/06A jar part number

    Grease build up around blade and where it attaches to base
    Grease can only creep into the blender vase if the oil seal has worn out, or the blenders blade shaft is worn and wobbling. Try cleaning all parts in alcohol to soften the seals. Rebuild kits and replacement blades can be found here (http://www.brevilleusa.com/breville-parts/blending.html)
